As a division of Heritage Christian Online School, an independent school in BC, Flex Academy receives only 50% of the funding that an equivalent public school receives. In order to provide the educational services expected of a school, independent schools need to charge tuition to make up a portion of the difference from what a public school receives. Our Future
At Flex Academy, we are excited to be part of the broader Learning Without Limits Campaign and the vision for the Nexus for Innovation in Education. This project is not only about expanding our school—it is about shaping the future of learning.
For Flex Academy, the Nexus means a purpose-built, innovative space that supports hybrid education in new and dynamic ways. Located beside our current gymnasium, this building will feature state-of-the-art lab spaces, a vibrant learning commons, small group study areas, and a large gathering space designed for learning in community.
As part of the Nexus vision, these new spaces will enable Flex Academy to grow into the next chapter of our story: expanding our programs, deepening student learning, and flourishing within our community while contributing to a national model of education innovation.
